Thallus saxicolous, crustose, esorediate, thin/immersed; perithecia superficial, black; ascospores obtuse-ellipsoid, ca. 8-per ascus, colorless, initially simple however becoming 2-celled and tapering, 12.5-13^im x 5-7nm.
