    Substrate volcanics. Exposed habitat on rocky knob in Pinus albicaulis-Abies lasiocarpa parkland with Erigeron compositus, Potentilla glandulosa, Poa secunda, Eriogonum ovalifolium, Saxifraga bronchialis.
