  • Habitat

    Abundant on small clay outcrop and common in immediately surrounding dry, rolling grassland on sandy clay. Outcrop aspect is north, 25% slope. Oryzopsis contracta, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Aster scopulorum, Stipa comata, Koeleria cristata, linum lewisii.

    Corolla is uniformly creamy white, drying true to color. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Elevation: 5790 ft. Outcrop aspect is north, 25% slope. Associated
species: Oryzopsis contracta, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Stipa
comata, Koeleria cristata, Aster scopulorum, Linum lewisii.
