Habitat
Growing in bare pale gray clay where water must stand occasionally. Distichis spikata, Sueda torryi, Sporolobus airoides, Heliotropum curassavicum, Cleomella longipes, Machaeranthera parviflora, Aster sonorae. Locally occasional.

Description
Branches prostrate or decumbent and ascending, to several feet long, wings pale lavender when young, corolla yellow and green when mature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
