Provincia La Vega: El Convento. Eiev. 1731 m. 18°50'36.5994“N 70°42'50.3994“W. Remnant pine forest (Pinus occidentalis), mixed with Garrya, Brunellia, and Rondeletia. Shrub 2-3 m tall, with numerous, long lateral branches; inflorescence rusty brown, drooping; calyx green.
