Description
Pileus 7-10 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, appressed subtomentose to subglabrous brown to cinnamon brown (6E7, 6D6). Flesh white, slowly and erratically pale brownish pink when exposed, with mild odor and mild to barely slightly sub-bitter taste. Tubes adnexed, light pinkish brown (6C-D5), with pores staining brown. Stipe 5.5-9 c, long, 1-1.5 cm broad, sub clavate, tapered at base, dry, reticulate, pale brown, white at base, with interior white, slowly pale brownish pink.
