    Gutierrezia, Larrea, mesquite (dunes), Ephedra, Rumex, Probiscidea, Dalea scoparia (numerous).

  • Description

    Pink-lavender corolla (drying blue in age) with slightly darker veins; stigma orange; 3 plants seen in the area, each forming a small dune; long tap root, about 1 cm. in diameter at crown, penetrating at least 1 foot deep. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
