United States of America. New York. Suffolk Co. Berkeley Jackson County Park, Greenlawn, Town of Huntington. Near Bunkerhill Drive. Long Island.

Habitat
Atop and growing down north-facing moraine. Little direct competition; growing amongst mosses and lichens. In very sandy, gravelly soil. Growing with Vaccinium pallidum, Vaccinium sp., Acer rubrum, Quercus montana, Quercus velutina, Juniperus virginiana, and Betula populifolia.

Description
Extremely large patch approximately 1.2 x 1.8 m around. Other smaller clumos in the immediate area. Flowers fading to bright light pink, pleasantly aromatic (most other E. repens in the region already out of flower). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
