Habitat
Growing in a non-inundated area at the edge of a recharge basin. With (young) Nyssa sylvatica, Rosa multiflora, Quercus alba and Toxicodendron radicans.

Description
Very large trees to about 60 ft tall, 2.5 ft diameter; dark "alligator-hide" bark. Six very large trees in the immediate area. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
