Habitat
Growing in a disturbed urban Old Growth Forest. With Quercus rubra, Carya glabra, Fagus grandifolia, Epifagus virginiana, Viburnum acerifolium and Eurybia divaricata.

Description
Stems cream, fading to brown. Corm-like base mustard yellow when cut open, quickly fading to yellowish brown. Several dozen clumps, about 200 stems. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
