Habitat
Steep mountainsides. In pine-oak forest or barranca-forest with oaks and other deciduous trees. Very abundant and weedy everywhere. Deep sandy soils.

Flowering when very small. Rays usually 3, white, often with 2 gaps between rays; disk yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
