    In fairly deep soil of quartzite with some limestone parent material, with Artemisia tridentata (wyomingensis?) and Agropyron spicatum. Adundant.

    Stems numerous from base; hairs dolabriform; flowers white, the keel purple-tipped (banner 11 mm, keel 9.5 mm). Phenology of specimen: Flower.

BUTTE CD: West slope southern Lenihi Range, BLM
land just below entrance to Badger Canyon. Pits
abundant in fairly deep soil of quartzite with
some limestone parent material, 6,700 ft., with
Artemisia tridentata (wyomingensis?) and
Agropyron spicatum. Sts. numerous from base;
hairs dolabriform; fls white, the keel purple-
tipped, (banner 11 mm, keel 9.5 irni).
