Primary, moist, lowland, non-flooded forest dominated by bamboo (Guadua). Wet season.

Description
Shrub 3 m. tall; fruit pendent, 4-25 cm. long, brown to red-brown, whitish within. Specimens preserved in 55% ethanol before drying. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
