Caribb rain forest, edge forested ravine, semi-shade; soil loam.

Description
Tree 20 m. high; base 1 m.m bark brown; raised dots and scaly flakes. Foliage: membranaceous; slightly stiffened, green, faintly shiny above; underside pale; venation russet from (but not always). Inflorescence: young buds pale greenl more advanced cream-yellow to dull pinkish, open fl. white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
