LOCALITY: Provincia de Matanzas: between La Criolla and El Mais, ca. 4 km from Playa Larga along road to St. Thomas.
HABITAT: Semi-deciduous forest, 15-20 m tall.
DESCRIPTION: Vine, 5-7 m long; inflorescence pedulous, the axis red; calyx red; corolla white; fruits red.
