Oak woodland; in 100 m strech of west-facing slope in shady canyon bottom.

Description
Locally very common (92 individuals) subshrub; flowers purple-pink 0.2 to 1.53 m tall; largest individual with 3-4 woody 25 cm. diameter, stems with tan bark with linear black marks. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
