Dry calcereous soil, partly shaded by trees.
Shrub, strongly branched, up to 1 m high. Stems whitish with black brown spots. Leaves coriaceous, dark green, shiny. Calyx green; corolla white, changing to cream; filaments and pistil whitish; anthers cream. Flowers with strong fragrance.
