Georeferenced to 3 km along the unnamed road connecting the city of San Carlos de Río Negro (synonymous with San Carlos) to the region of Solano in Mun. Río Negro, Amazonas, Venezuela. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the unnamed road which connects the two sites. Beginning at what appears to be the start of this road (located near the approximate geographic center of the city of San Carlos de Río Negro) measured approximately 3 km (3.00088 km) along the road toward the region of Solano. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the offset, along the road. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent of the starting location, determined to be the city of San Carlos de Río Negro, by measuring from the approximate geographic center of the city of San Carlos de Río Negro to the farthest extent of the city. Input coordinates, linear extent (1.40206 km), measurement error (0.0005 km), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
