St. Andrew Parish. Along road from Kingston to Newcastle, between mileposts 17 & 18. Elev. about 3000 feet.
Trees 5-10 m tall, on steep slope beside road. Branches breaking easily. Fruiting branches losing leaves and dying after seeds mature. Flowers cream-pink, corolla densely pubescent within. Voucher for DNA and live collections.
