    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the city of Chaves in Mun. Chaves, Ilha de Marajó, Pará; ensuring that the uncertainty radius encompassed the entire area considered to be "Chaves" (total extent of município). Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the city of Chaves. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the city. Município Chaves is comprised of seven islands north of Ilha de Marajó: Ilha Mexiana, Ilha Caviana de Fora, Ilha Caviana de Dentro, Ilha Januaçu, Ilha Jurupari, Ilha das Pacas, and Ilha Camaleão (island names provided by wikimapia.org, http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=0.109863&lon=-50.421753&z=9&m=b&search=ilha%20de%20marajo) and the northern portion of Ilha de Marajó. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates (geographic center of the city of Chaves) to the farthest extent of the município. Because Google Maps provides the boundaries of the município, used the linear extent as the uncertainty radius.
