United States of America. Florida. Bitter Sweet Orange, indigenous to Florida east of Sewaney River: though rarely found north of the district known as Allachua, or north of the 29° 30' latitude. Though there is a small grove near the Alligator Pond which is somewhat north of the 30°. The pond or lake may have been favorable to that location. [Alligator Pond is in Brevard Co., FL).
