Tree 13 m tall. Bark: rough. slash: fibrous, soft, pink, quickly turning oragne-red, some orange radial flames from surface, sapwood pale orange-cream, Leaves; fleshy; US glossy, nerves impressed; LS matt, merves prominant. Flowers: pink, (RHS colour code: Leaf upper - 137 A, below= 146 B ). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
