Description
Tree. Medium-to large-sized tree; trunk cylindric, outer bark brown, fissured extremely hard, thick, brittle, inner bark red-and-tan striate, hard; sap clear; fruits narrowly ovoid to ellipsoid, immature, 10 cm long. Characteristic of várzea in this region. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
