    Colony with flowers with fark blood0red or purple-red. A. B. Stout states this color form true and oculiroseus is distinct. S[arse in N.J. but hybridizes freely in L.I. [=Long Island], Confirmed by A. B. Stout. Collected by R. Cartham, his # 6761. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
