Habitat
On conglomerate sandstone rock with scrubby vegetation among rocks by river and neighboring hillsides.

Description
Slender tree to 5 m. often less. Leaves slightly aromatic with pine aroma. Leaves mid-green above, rather pale beneath. Stems reddish-purple tinged above. Calyx pale green, with dark purple-tinged teeth, spreading in fruit. Corolla pale blue-violet with paler region with dark blue lines in base of upper lip near throat. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
