Disturbed forest on undulating terrain. Clay soil.

Description
Tree 25m x 40cm, with thick plank buttresses. Fruits greenish-brown, pendent on arching inflorescences.

Notes (shown on label)
Some of fallen pyrenes opened and seed eaten by unknown animals. No seedlings near parent tree. Some branches with buds. Locally dominant.
