Partly shaded by trees, dry surface, but moist underneath rocks. Spreading herb, 10-15 cm high. Stems purplish green. Leaves light green. Calyx yellowish green; corolla pale yellow with a purple spot on the inner side of each lobe; antheres white; pistil green. Enlarged calyx brown when the fruit is ripe. Fruit whitish, shiny.
