More or less dry, diabase soil, full sun.
Shrubby herb, 80 cm high, becoming woody at the base. Branches grey brown. Leaves coriacious, dull, dark green; petioles brownish green. CAlyx inflated, light green, softly pubescent; corolla white with greenish base; filaments pale green; anthers greyish; pistil white. Fruits prickly, green changing to brown, hanging down. Typical smell!
