Along the road from Windwardside to Hell's Gate. Forest on steep hill, moist soil, partly shaded by the mountain.
Large shrub, 7 m high. Stem light brown, deeply grooved. Leaves fatty, dark green, veines light green; petiole, central vein and young twigs white pubescent. Flowers cauliflore; calyx greenish with thin, transparant margin; corolla whitish, lobes cream; filaments and style white; anthers light'brown; stigma and ovary greenish.
