    Mature forest primarily of Quercus, Acer, ans Sassafras with understory shrubs, ferns fungi, and floor of leaf litter and humus.

  • Description

    Specimen shrub approx. 12 ft. tall, in dappled shade near recreational footpath in a stand of 10 to 15 other naturalized specimens. Viburnum opulus being covered by Celastrus orbiculatus. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
