Collection Notes
"It appears that specimen was not collected by Eggers. The label indicates that was collected by Britton and Millspaugh in March 1907, collection number is 6230. Someone appears to have added an annotation that indicates Eggers collected a similar specimen no 4039 in Feb 1888 in the Bahamas. It may have been collected on Long Island but I have not located any other specimens of Eggers from Long Island." (Lee B. Kass, personal communication, November 8, 2011)
