Shaley hills with Quercus emoryi, Q. chihuahuense, Cowania, Baccharis viminea, Mimosa.

Description
In loose patches, particulary where disturbed. Corolla at first pale yellow, fading to near white which quickly turns to red-violet. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
