Location
Mexico. Baja California. 3 miles north of Catavina and ¼ mi. east of highway.

Habitat
Collected in a sandy wash. A permanent stream flows in this arroyo and supports a vegetation composed of Washingtonia filifera, Erythea armata, Prosopis, Haplopappus & Distichlis. The surrounding slopes are bouldery granite and support a vegetation of Idria, Pachycereus, Fouquieria, Simmondsia, etc. Fairly common locally in damp sand on the floor of the canyon- in open areas.
