Location
Colombia. Huila. about 16 km northeast of Villavieja and 2 km south of Río Cabrera; upper basin of Río Magdalena.

Habitat
Arid hills supporting low annuals, thorn-scrubs, cacti; with abundant shrubs and trees along stream-bottoms. Miocene sandstones and clays overlain with Pleistocene gravels, the latter with dense scrub growth. Fairly common in dry wash.

Description
Tree 6m tall with almost white bark on trunk; flowers and fruits scarce.
