Honduras. Yoro. Close to the road running NW from the small town of Jocon towards the Aguan Valley about 12 km. from Jocon near the village of Macora in the valley of the Rio Macora.

Habitat
Iin remnant gallery forest along the banks of the Rio Macora with Inga, Lonchocarpus, Pterocarpus and Leucaena. Frequent, scattered.

Description
Large tree with heavy branching and a wide crown to 20 m. ht. Bark mid brown and flaking. Leaves recently flushed and immature, mid green, slightly glossy. Abundant sweetly scented flowers. Calyx mid green, corolla pale green, staminal tube, stamen filaments and style creamy white, anthers pale yellow green. No pods. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
