Nee, 2010 Maryland, Baltimore Co., Towson, a northern suburb of Baltimore, 0.25 km S of Lake Roland Dam. 39°22’35”N, 76°38’36”W. alt. 91 m. Ornamental bamboo at suburban residence, obtained from a nursery and planted as “miniature bamboo” in 1992, and probably has not previously flowered. One dense clump, 1.5 m. tall, now in flower and mostly without leaves, normally evergreen and should now be with green leaves.
