New Zealand. Canterbury. South Island. Valley of Broad Stream, above Cora Lynn Station.

Habitat
On waterlogged muck within partially shaded spring on slope immediately above open stream bed; margin of seral Nothofagus solandii forest. Hab keys: Greywacke, subalpine, slope, wet, seep, seral. Assoc. spp.: Plagiochila sinclairii, Acaena anserinifolia; Ourisia l. subsp. lactea, Coprosma perpusilla, Helichrysum ?bellidioides, Breutela pendula, Epilobium pedunculare, Pratia angulata, Luzula sp. Plants partially shading the spring: Hebe salicifola, Coprosma aff. parviflora, Nothofagus solandri.
