Habitat
Campos gerais (with elements of cerrado and campos rupestres). Open rocky ledges with white sand. This plant among shrubs and rocks in open areas.

Description
Climbing twiner to 2.5 m with fleshy semi-coriaceous, glaucous blue-green leaves, these paler below and with paler veins on upper surface; flowers pink with yellow throat. Cut stems exude copious sticky white sap. Young fruits green tinged purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
