Description
Tree 12 m., branching from base. Bark greyish-black with prominent spines. Stems greyish with greyish-white lenticels. Leaves dark green above, lighter beneath with a brownish indumentum; sepals yellowish green; petals yellowish green. Anthers green; filaments white. Fruit glabrous green turning red when ripe. Seed black, glossy surrounded by a pinkish-white aril. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
