Description
Plants nearly acaulescent; flowers pale cream, keel 7 - 7.5 mm and equal the banner, wings obscurely emarginate, pod 2-celled, red-mottled. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

FLORA OF EAST CENTRAL IDAHO Astragalus platytropis Gray BUTTE CO: Extreme southern end of Lenihi Range, Challis National Forest, ca 4 miles N of Berenice ele ca 6,200 ft. Limestone talus along west side of Bartel (Middle) Canyon in vie of road head. Occasional with Artemisia tridentata and Agropyron spicatum, opposite and about level with prominent narrow vertical fissure in the limestone cliffs. Pits nearly acaulescent; flowers pale cream, keel 7-7.5 mn and equal the banner, wings obscurely emarginate, pod 2-celled, red-mottled. Collected by: D.
