    Creosote bush scrub. Fairly common in sandy areas below sandstone cliffs. Associated with Pholisma arenarium, Franseria dumosa, Eriogonum inflatum, Chorizanthe spinosa, Gilia sp,, Lupinus odoratus, L. schockleyi, etc.
