Description
Seedlings, abundant, progeny of a large tree present here, planted in the early 1980s. Apparently this tree has produced very few seedlings throughout its life, only a few a year, but this year is very different. Perhaps the change is due to some young trees planted on the research garden, just behind (N of) the herbarium building, producing pollen for ther first time last year. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
