United States of America. Oregon. Josephine Co. Kerby. Approximately 3.5 miles SSW of Kirby on private property along west side of West Side Road. Kerby is about 27 miles SW of Grants Pass on Highway 199.

Habitat
Specimen trees located along fairly steep-sided eastward tending moist but intermittent stream channels on steep slopes; serpentine soils. Associated species: Along the stream channels were grassy openings and open forest containing Jeffrey pine, Douglas fir, tree oaks, and poison ivy (Rhus or Toxicodendron sp.).

Three-part specimen: foliage, some with cones, bark, and cones collected off the ground. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
