    corolla white, stamen filaments white, anthers yellow; branching at ground-level from a rhizome embedded in soil among broken rock, 3-5 uprights per node; about 20 upright-groups seen in area. [see specimen for chromosome description and drawings]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
