    Low forest on steep slopes with discontinuous canopy ca. 15 m and some emergents to 25 m. Disturbed margin of unpaved access road. Frequent. soil sandy gravel, unstable, with large granite outcrops.

    Tree. Tree 7 m x 7 cm, sterile. Resin brown. Outer bark brown, deeply fissured, shed in thick rectangular plates of irregular thickness, inner bark pale tan. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
