HARNEY CO. In the shelter on the northeast side of a
large rock on the slopes overlooking Big Indian Creek,
near the pass to Little Wildhorse Creek, about 2 miles
west of the highest point of the mountain; Steens Mts.,
southeast of Burns. Elevation about 9000 feet. Flowers
yellow, the palate hairy and red-dotted; calyx red-
dotted.
