    SW corner of section, S-facing limestone soil, rocky, with Juniperus, Cercocarpus, Yucca baccata, Bouteloua gracilis. Common in a narrow band about 50 m. wide on slope near base of ridge.

    Plants tufted; banner light red-violet, wing white, keel violet, pods 2-celled. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
