United States of America. Nevada. Elko Co. North of Wildhorse Reservoir, 1.6 (1 mi) east on the Gold Creek Road from State Route 225, then north 3.7 km (2.3 mi) on a dirt road (0.5 km (0.3 mi) north of Poorman Creek crossing), and about 100 m (110 yards) east in a draw.

In wet soil along a small stream. Mixed in with Trifolium cyathoferum and Heterocodon rariflorum. Common.
