Middle sized, understory, clustured palm, ca. 4m tall (tallest stem), ca. 15-20 stems per clump. Leaves imparipinnate, leaflets held horizontally, 39 on each side of the rachis + 1 terminal, basal leaflets clustered by (2) 3 (4). Leaflets abaxial face wh.
