Description
Clustered medium sized palm, stems to 4m tall and 7 cm DBH, covered by persistent light to dark brown fibres. Leaves ca. 15/20 per stem, pinnate. Proximal pinnae transformed in spines; petiole ca. 38 cm long spines to 10 cm long, rachis 88cm long, leaf wi.
